Emma Clair has built her name on one major underpinning belief - “music should be fun”. In a world where dance music is filled with moody shots of DJs dressed in black, Emma is the total antithesis to this and isn't this what we need more than ever!?
Featuring at Neon Moon's Club Cirque UV on March 18th 2023 at The Cambridge Junction, Emma’s not-to-be-missed sound is best described as a concoction of house and tech house fused with classic vocal cuts and an old skool/vintage edge.
This isn't to say Emma's music isn't serious, always focused on delivering quality original music with her own colourful flavour. Having traversed different genres over the years from Emma's early days as a Hard House DJ then evolving into a leading presence within the Electro Swing scene, these musical evolutions truly embody the spirit of Emma Clair as a passionate music loving aficionado to bring her to where she is today.
Emma has released on some of the most reputable dance music labels and racked up over a million streams on Spotify with her debut House record on Trax Records landing inside the Beatport Top 30, followed by singles on Applique Music and In It Together Records; both of which received airplay on BBC Music Introducing in Manchester. January 2023 will see Emma make her label debut on Toolroom Records with her hard hitting tech house track ‘Techno Music’.
Her natural musicality, raw passion and experience has led to her being requested to play far and wide across the globe for some of the world's most renowned brands and venues: Beats For Love Festival (Czech Republic), Antwerp Mansion, Beatherder Festival, Beaverworks, Boomtown Festival, Eiger Studios, Franz Club (Berlin), Gatecrasher, Invisible Wind Factory, Joshua Brooks, L'usine (Geneva, Switzerland), Ministry of Sound, Operaen (Copenhagen, Denmark), Rough Trade, Sankeys, Soho (Ibiza, Spain) South, Stage & Radio, The Roxy (Prague, Czech Rep), Victoria Warehouse, VIVA (Ibiza, Spain) and West Indian Centre.
Hosting successful ‘Prohibition’ parties in Manchester for over 8 years, interviewing an array of international artists on online radio shows and running her own record label, Emma is a shining example of where hard work and determination can take you.
